India is receiving congratulatory messages from all over the world for the successful launch of Chandrayaan-3. The former minister of Pakistan has also congratulated India for Chandrayaan-3, after which he is being trolled on Twitter. At the same time, Pakistan’s media has also published many reports on the launch of Chandrayaan-3.

India successfully launched its moon mission Chandrayaan-3 on Friday. ISRO is preparing to conduct a soft landing on the south pole of the moon with this mission. If India is successful in its mission, it will become the fourth country after China, Russia and America to make a soft landing on the moon. Many countries including Japan, Britain’s space agencies have congratulated India on the success of successfully launching Chandrayaan. There is a lot of discussion about the launch of Chandrayaan-3 in the media of Pakistan.

Meanwhile, a tweet by Pakistan’s former Information and Broadcasting Minister Fawad Chaudhary is going viral in which he has congratulated India for the successful launch of Chandrayaan-3. His tweet is being discussed because earlier when India’s moon mission failed in its soft landing attempt, Fawad Chaudhary had lashed out at India. He then used the word ‘Endia’ for India instead of ‘India’ in a tweet.
He wrote in his tweet, ‘Oho….Jo kaam aata nahi, panga nahi lete nahi….Dear India (Endia).’
However, now he has congratulated India and said, ‘Congratulations to India’s space and science community on the launch of Chandrayaan. My best wishes to all of you.
He is being criticized a lot for his congratulatory message. Former Supreme Court judge Markandey Katju said that Fawad Chaudhary’s tweet on the failure of the mission was to appease the then government of Imran Khan. For this they should be ashamed.
What was published in the media of Pakistan?
All the major newspapers of Pakistan, Dawn, The Express Tribune, Geo TV etc. have published many reports regarding the launch of Chandrayaan-3. Almost all the reports prominently discuss that India’s first attempt at soft landing was unsuccessful.
At the same time, some people of Pakistan are cursing their government for this success of India. Pakistani-American businessman Sajid Tarar while talking on the show of Pakistani journalist Arzoo Kazmi said that the governments of Pakistan only fool their people.
Talking about India’s Moon mission, he said, ‘They are going to make a soft landing on the south pole of the moon, there is no light, the surface is very rough, it is very difficult to land there. The entire program in India is relatively cheap. Indian scientists have a sense of nationalism, that’s why they do all these things. But our focus is not on all these.
He advised the youth of Pakistan to see the news going on in the media of India so that they would know how far our neighbor is going and what we are doing.
He said, ‘You (Pakistan’s youth) look at the Indian media to know how all this is being done. You too can do this. You are being fooled. The children of all those leaders who talk about your welfare are studying in good colleges in London.
Pakistan’s largest English newspaper Dawn quoted news agency AFP as saying that India has launched its low-cost Chandrayaan-3. The newspaper wrote that this is the second attempt of India’s ambitious Moon mission.
Let us tell you that India had tried soft landing on the moon before also in which it was unsuccessful. India launched Chandrayaan-2 on 22 July 2019, whose lander Vikram and rover Pragyan crashed while attempting a soft landing on the lunar surface on 7 September. India has sent Chandrayaan 3 in the second attempt of soft landing on the moon after four years.
On the launch of Chandrayaan-3, the Pakistani newspaper wrote, ‘Chandrayaan-3 is a comparatively low-budget aerospace program. India is moving fast in the direction of soft landing through this mission. India’s previous attempt at soft landing four years ago was unsuccessful when contact with Chandrayaan-2 was lost just before landing.
The newspaper further wrote about the low cost of Chandrayaan-3, ‘Experts say that India can keep its cost low by copying existing space technology and adopting it in its mission. And for this, India is full of highly skilled engineers who earn much less than their foreign counterparts.
In another report, Dawn quoted news agency Reuters as saying that if Chandrayaan-3 makes a soft landing, it will be an unprecedented achievement for India, which will establish it as the world’s leading space power.
The newspaper wrote, ‘Chandrayaan-3 will be the first spacecraft to land on the South Pole of the Moon. There is presence of water ice on this region due to which space agencies and private space companies are of special interest here. Due to the presence of water, it may be possible to build a space station on the moon.

What did The Express Tribune say?
Another big newspaper of Pakistan, The Express Tribune, has written that if this mission of India becomes successful, then India will join the list of three countries, Russia, China, America, who have made soft landing on the moon.
The newspaper quoted Reuters as saying, ‘Chandrayaan, which means in Sanskrit – the vehicle of the moon, has a two-meter-long lander that will land the rover on the south pole of the moon. If a successful soft landing is done on the moon, then the rover will do many types of research and experiments there for two weeks. ISRO has expressed hope that Chandrayaan will land on the moon on 23 August.

What did Jio TV print?
Geo TV wrote that India has launched its Chandrayaan-3 and is expected to reach the lunar surface on 23 August. Referring to India’s first unsuccessful attempt, the newspaper wrote that in the year 2019, the lander and rover of India’s moon mission Chandrayaan-2 crashed at some distance from the lunar surface while trying to land.
