Ten days have passed since the release of the film ‘Adipurush’ and the controversies related to it continue even today. The audience objected to the dialogues of the film. Advocate Kuldeep Tiwari had also filed a petition against this in the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court. Hearing on this petition took place on Monday, 26th June. During the hearing, the High Court lashed out at the censor board and the producer-director of the film.

Petitioner Kuldeep Tiwari has issued a statement regarding this. According to the statement, ‘During the hearing of our petition regarding the objectionable film ‘Adipurush’ today, the Division Bench of Justice Rajesh Singh Chauhan and Justice Sriprakash Singh in the Hon’ble High Court reprimanded the Censor Board and the makers of the film.

Senior advocate Ranjana Agnihotri informed the court about the objectionable facts and lodged a protest. Advocate Ashwini Kumar appeared on behalf of the Censor Board. Accepting the amendment application submitted by us on June 22, the court asked the advocate Ashwini Singh, appearing on behalf of the Censor Board, what the Censor Board keeps doing? Cinema is the mirror of the society, what do you want to teach the future generations? Does the Censor Board not understand its responsibilities?
The court also said that not only Ramayana but at least spare religious texts like Holy Quran, Guru Granth Sahib and Gita, rest are doing whatever they do. The court also showed a strong stand on the absence of the film’s producer, director and other defendant parties in the court. Senior advocate Ranjana Agnihotri objected to the Censor Board not filing its reply yet and apprised the court about the objectionable facts of the film.

Objection was raised on the dialogue of characters like Hanuman, Ravana, Indrajit in ‘Adipurush’. When the audience raised the demand to boycott it, the makers decided to change the dialogue. Now the dialogues of the film have been changed, but the film is not getting any special benefit from it. Meanwhile, the controversies related to this are also not taking the name of ending. Kriti Sen, Saif Ali Khan and Sunny Singh have worked in this film with Prabhas. The director of the film is Om Raut and writer Manoj Muntashir.
